They are singing HOSANNA (song written by Sidney Mohede of True Worshippers).
Even the rain didnt deter the worshippers from coming to sing HOSANNA!!!!
And I just want to add that its amazing how GOD uses all of us. Sidney Mohede from Indonesia wrote a song, which was shared with Israel & New Breed this year in their worship conference, and the song was then brought over to Africa! Amazing! Crossing borders, boundaries and traditions! Woo hoo!

Sidney Mohede Concert & Workshop in Malaysia
We have Sidney Mohede coming LIVE to Malaysia in November for a Concert and a Praise & Worship Workshop.
For those of you who are not aware, Sidney Mohede is the lead worshiper in the influential and groundbreaking True Worshippers, a worship team under Jakarta Praise Community Church.
They have recorded numerous live recording projects, and their songs have become a ‘must sing’ choruses in churches all over Indonesia.
Sidney was also attached to a well known rock gospel band named Giving My Best (GMB), being their frontman for almost 12 years and producing more than 10 best-selling albums. But as of January 2008, he resigned his position as lead vocalist to focus more on his pastoral ministries and solo projects along with ongoing True Worshippers projects.

This is an awesome song from True Worshippers All Things New album.
The song called Dalam Kasih Mu Bapa (In My Father’s Love) is an excellent slow song for worship.
The song is sang by Ruth Sahanaya which is one of Indonesia’s most famous singers. She is part of the 3 divas (Kris Dayanti, Titi DJ & her) and have toured the world under the Banner “Diva Indonesia“.
For Malaysians, this means that Ruth is the equivalent of our Sheila Majid who is professionally well known all over Malaysia, but just that Ruth Sahanaya is a dedicated Christian believer and serves along in the True Worshippers band!

Song : Shine Like Stars [True Worshippers]
This is a cool song from the True Worshippers band, from their previous album called Shine Like Stars. Its an upbeat song, and yes its a song in English.
Although True Worshippers are from Indonesia, their album consist a mix of English and Indonesian worship songs.
The song talks about how we as Christian should SHINE for Christ to the world of hurts and despair that’s around us. Its a song that’s taken from Matt 5:14, We’re the Light of the World!

Right after blogging about the CD Review of ALL THINGS NEW, i couldn’t help myself but to immediately blog about my no.1 fav song from their album …..YESUS!!
The song is such an upbeat song, and its such an excitable song, and the lyrics are just so wonderful!
The chorus basically declares (my translation to English)

I absolutely love this song, and wish i could have taught it this weekend in church!
CD Review : True Worshippers – All Things New
You gotta get this CD! Really wan!! (or to our International Readers, Seriously… u gotta get this CD!) Its absolutely lovely, anointed, and awesome! I just got my copy from Canaanland on Monday, and as soon as i pop the CD in ….. woo hoo! Love the FIRST SONG!!
If you don’t know True Worshippers, you may know GMB! They are Indonesian Worship Bands! I am glad that the Malaysian language and the Indonesian language is so similar, that we can enjoy the songs that they write. (Similar to how the Swiss French would understand the French!)
Anyway, GMB has sort of been disbanded and the lead singer Sidney Mohede and a few others joined their church’s (Jakarta Praise Community) brand name called True Worshippers.
So now, they have re-branded everything under the TW (True Worshippers) label with the following albums
- TW Live (for the main congregation)
- TW Youth (for youth)
- TW Kiddy (for kids)
TW is HUGE in Indonesia. Each time they do a recording, they have a sold-out stadium! And TW sells 100,000 copies of their main albums globally! Sounds like the Hillsong story eh? Just minus the Conference!
Anyway enough about the history, lets get back to the songs …
