CD Review : Lincoln Brewster’s Today Is The Day
What can i say? Its Lincoln Brewster for starters! Its Praise & Worship laced with Rock beats & rhytym and the songs are great! Its a brilliant P&W CD to have and great songs to use in church as well!
This review is really overdued, but with the Worship Night preparations and heavy work schedule, this review has been long overdued!
First of all, if you didn’t read my post on TODAY IS THE DAY, then you won’t know that i absolutely love the song, and wanna teach it in church very soon! The song is super catchy, and the words are so true, and its a just a simple and beautiful song written by Lincoln & Paul (Baloche). Review : Martha Munizzi’s Change The World
Have you heard of Martha Munizzi?
How would i define her Gospel/Worship Music? Hmmm… the best way i can descibe it is, If you know Israel Houghton ….. she’s like the female version of his style of music and song.
Change The World is extremely Upbeat, with a lot of Positve and Uplifting songs that will definitely get you off your feet dancing and Praising God as He showers HIS favor on us! 
Yeah that’s how i feel after listening to Change The World one time!
And now after listening to it a couple more times … WOO HOO!! Martha is definitely gonna Change The World with her anointed leading and beautiful songs.

Review : Planet Shakers – All For Love (2008)
What can i say? Planet Shakers sounds like Planet Shakers!! haha
Trust me they do, when you put the CD in and Press PLAY, the same type of music comes rocking out of the beatbox and you feel comfortable and accustom to that groove. Yes… that’s Planet Shakers. (Pity can’t really say the same about This Is Our God! .. but that’s another story)
Levi was telling me when he got the CD that it was a good album. When i got to listen to it … and yeah… though some songs sound similar, but thats the PS signature style of music!
And yes i can imagine using some of their songs in church already.
CD Review : Gateway Worship – Wake Up The World
WOO HOO!!! The second LIVE Worship CD from Gateway Worship. I remembered when i first stumbled on LIving For You last year in June, and was so excited with the potential of this new band in US.
I love the songs that they do, its dynamic, its powerful, its fun to sing, and its filled with the Spirit! Our fav in church its still their second song from their first CD called YOU YOU ARE GOD!
As i am writing this, i just received an SMS from our head of our Dance Ministry, asking for a sample of “YOU” cos they would be dancing to that song on the fourth week of April! WOO HOO!!
Anyway….cool factor that i like about Gateway Worship is that one of our dear friends, Victor is attending the church in USA. He was sharing with us last year when they did the recording and how he met Don Moen for the very first time (Asians would know what i mean… Don Moen was HUGE in worship back in the 90s all over Asia). Anyway , so Victor was saying how great the service was and was telling me to get it when it gets out!!
One MORE other great thing that i love about Gateway Worship is that they provide CHORDS for all their songs FREE OF CHARGE on their website! That’s the coolest church that i know who records cool songs and shares their chords for FREE! That’s really a blessing especially for people way over in Asia! Keep up the great work Gateway!

Song : You’ll Come – United With Heart As One
This is one of my current fav! Excellent song written by Brooke Fraser and a song that talks about the End Times!! A song of promise, a song of hope, a song declaring that JESUS will come again!
AWESOME!!!
I’ve heard many songs with themes around the Second Coming of Christ, but not a song that sounded so cool in its rhythm and style and with lyrics that speaks to your heart. The CD is now available at Salvation Bookstore (for Malaysians), if you’ve not gotten your copy yet, strongly encourage u to get one … lots of brilliant remixes!!

CD Review : FREE – Planet Shakers 2008
Just realized that i totally forgot to review the Planet Shakers 2008 CD – FREE! Got it back in January, but totally forgot to blog about it! Whoopsy!
With PS coming in April, I suddenly remembered that i totally missed this CD.
This album has not really been a great impact for me, the songs are the typical Planet Shakers songs, rockish, tunes are rather similiar. Was hoping for more new stuff.
Only a couple of the songs are really nice. You can buy the CD online, and its also now available in Malaysia.
FREE was recorded in Melbourne over two nights and done by Planetshakers City Church.
From the album, I like Greatly to be Praised, Salvation and Saved The Day. Interestingly the song Save The Day has a simliar intro to His Love (Hillsongs). I thought why was Planetshakers playing a Hillsong song? hehe .. then the intro changed.

Review CD : Hillsong Kids Tell The World
Love this CD! I don’t know why the Kids CD are always so much funkier and funner (if there’s such a word) to listen to.
The fast songs are mostly techno style with electronic drumbeats and cool sound effects from the keyboards, and the songs are wild, and excitingly done.
I love the remake of Tell The World, My Redeemer Lives and
If you have kids, you gotta go get one. (In Malaysia, both the Audio CD & DVD is available for sale already at Salvation Bookstore).
The songs are lively and the message in the CD of course is simple and so important for all to do. Which is to Tell The World about Jesus!

Review of Michael W Smith – It’s A Wonderful Christmas
Michael W Smith’s new Christmas Album is a superb Christmas production. You know just like a movie soundtrack where you hear the entire ensemble from the Orchestra, that’s how the entire album sounds like. With songs, music instrumentals and duet with American Idol’s Mandisa .. all the 11 songs were done so so well.
I would say that the album is different from those “Christmas CD” that you would wanna play, hit Repeat, in a Christmas Party. This is a collector’s item. I also do believe some of the songs could be used in soundtracks for movies with Christmas themes. Its really really well done.
And to get a fore-taste of how the entire CD will go, take a look at the “Making Of Its A Wonderful Christmas” Video below. Check out the Orchestra in action and Michael does some explanation of the songs that was done in the CD!! Really really excellent!
