Shout to The Lord sang on American Idol
In tonite’s Idol Gives Back series of American Idol 2008, we see the contestants of American Idol do an amazing worship song.
Who would have thought that Darlene’s all time favourite, “Shout To The Lord” will be sung at American Idol and be a blessing to Millions!! Doesn’t it just challenge you to write worship songs which are beautiful, and which speaks into the hears of many.

Michael W Smith & Darlene Zschech performed live in a Worship Concert on 6 Oct at the Gelredome Arnhem in Holland, Netherlands.
It was in conjunction with the 40th Anniversary of the “Evangelische Omroep”. We heard it was a blast …. two awesome worship leaders bringing God’s people into His Presence.

Song : You Are Faithful [Hillsong : Saviour King]
This is the second last track on the album. The third song written by Darlene Zschech which has a simple chorus declaring the Faithfulness of God! Its a proclamation of God’s Faithfulness to us! I can imgaine a Human Video done for this song or using this song to be made into a movie snippet, displaying images of God’s Faithfulness!
As a worship song, the song is very simple in nature and it has the potential to build up in High Worship …. Indeed Lord YOU ARE FAITHFUL!!

Darlene Zschech and Cindy Cruse Ratcliff at Lakewood Church Video
Awesome, was really glad to stumble on this youtube website that featured three quality videos of Darlene and Cindy. Wow .. i mean i love the songs from Hillsong, and i also love the songs from Lakewood Church. (For those who do not know, that’s where Israel Houghton is from as well, and he did a couple of albums with Cindy Cruse Ratcliff).
Anyway, the videos are three parts recordings of the church service at Lakewood Church (Houston, Texas), each video is about 10mins long in playback time. You also get to see Lakewood’s pastor, Pastor Joel Osteen and his entire Church, its huge, with two teams of Choir in the background and a huge Band (pretty full).
Therefore the buffering will take a while. But i would say be patient and it will definitely be worth the wait.
