Lyrics - Never Gonna Break My Faith

Verse 1
My Lord
I have read this book so many times
But nowhere can I find the page
That says what I experience today
Ain’t it great?

Now I know that life was meant to be hard
Thats how I learn to appreciate my God
Though my courage made me try
I can tell you i won’t hide
Because the footprints show you are by my side

Chorus

You can lie to a child with a smilin’ face
Tell me that color aint about race
You can cast the first stones you can break my bones
But your never gonna break
Your never gonna break my Faith

Faith and Hope aint yours to give
Truth and Liberty are mine to live
You can steal a crown from a king
Break an angels wings
But your never gonna break
Your never gonna break my Faith

Verse 2
My Lord
Won’t you help them to understand
That when someone takes the life of an innocent man
Well they never really Won because all they’ve really done
Is set the Soul Free where it’s supposed to be

Bridge
For those we lose before their time
I pray their souls will find the light
I know that the day will surely come
When his will, His will, will be done

Lyrics - You Brought The Sunshine

Verse1
You made my day, You came my way
You heard me every, every time I pray
You gave me peace, You gave me grace
You put a smile upon my face

Chorus
You brought the sunshine {You brought the sunshine}
In my life {Threw out the lifeline}
Threw out the lifeline (You brought the sunshine)
To save my life {Threw out the lifeline}

Since then I have known Christ
There has been such a change in my life (Uh-huh)

Verse2
You made my day, You came my way
You heard me every, every time I pray
You gave me peace, You gave me grace
You put a smile upon my face

You brought the sunshine {You brought the sunshine}
In my life {Threw out the lifeline}
Threw out the lifeline (You brought the sunshine)
To save my life {Threw out the lifeline}

Amazing Grace, how sweet the song
That saved a wretch like me

{I’m a witness that Jesus} Anybody know Jesus
{Will make a difference in your life}
{I’m a witness} Can I get a witness {That Jesus}, anybody know Jesus
{Will make a difference in your life}
{I’m a witness} Can I get a witness {That Jesus}, anybody know Jesus
{Will make a difference in your life}

I once was lost, but now I?m found
But now, but now I see
Oh, yeah, yeah
Mmm, hmm, mmm, hmm

You made, You made my day (You brought the sunshine)
You came, You came my way (Thank You, Jesus, threw out the lifeline)
You made, You made my day (Thank You, Jesus, mmm, hmm, thank You, Jesus)
You came, You came my way (Thank You, Jesus, Thank You, Jesus, mmm, hmm)

Lyrics - With Long Life

Chorus
With long life You will satisfy me, You will satisfy me with long life
With long life You will satisfy me, You will satisfy me with long life
I will praise You forever, only You can satisfy

Verse
When I call, Lord, You will answer, when I fall, You will raise me up
I’m protected by Your shadow, You’re so good, You’re so good to me
I will praise You forever

Pictured above is the band, Casting Crowns, with Kirk Franklin and Miley Cyrus.

“This is an incredible honor! Wow, an American Music Award; this is voted on by our fans so it’s very special to us. We’re both humbled and honored to represent Christian music, and its fans tonight,” noted Mark Hall lead singer and youth pastor.

The award show was hosted by Jimmy Kimmel and for the first time in American Music Awards history, winners were determined by fan online voting at ama.abc.com.

The band’s album remains No.1 on SoundScan’s Top Christian Albums chart for a ninth week, and the project’s first radio single “East to West” is spending its 13th week at No. 1 on Christian AC radio.

The “2007 American Music Awards” presentations ceremony is produced by Dick Clark Productions, Inc., Twenty awards were given out representing the best of Pop/Rock, Country, Soul/Rhythm & Blues, Rap/Hip Hop, Latin, Alternative, Adult Contemporary and Contemporary Inspirational music.

During its four-year career, Casting Crowns has been honored with a GRAMMY Award, three American Music Award nods and multiple Gospel Music Dove Awards serving as the industry’s “Group of the Year” for the last three years. Casting Crowns has been the most played artist on all Christian radio formats combined, with seven consecutive No.1 AC radio hits, and the group has sold more than 3 million albums to date. All seven band members remain active in student ministry in the Atlanta-area and tour part-time around their local-church duties.

Beach Street Records, an imprint of Reunion Records, a unit of Provident Label Group, was launched by Mark Miller, founder and frontman of the multi-platinum country music act, Sawyer Brown.
