Lakewood Live Worship – Hope For Today
Have you heard Lakewood’s latest Worship CD – Hope for Today?
It was released end of last year, and like every Lakewood CD, its packed with great faith-building songs, beautiful worship arrangements, creative worship medleys and an awesome time of worship in the presence of God!
I love the songs that are sung here in Lakewood. One of my fav is track 7 and 8, where the Lakewood Worship Team started with an acapella of Because He Lives ……. and they medley it to Amazing Grace my Chains Are Gone! That was simply beautiful and powerful (Watch the video below). I love the part just before the chorus of My Chains are Gone are sung, Israel shouted out ….. “Remember That Moment?” …….. My Chains Are Gone …. Wooo Hooo … that was super meaningful!

Anyway .. back to the CD … the other really cool & easy-going song is Track 11 called Abudance of Rain. Just listen to it and enjoy and be ministered as the song is sung! Really really cooooool!
All the other cool songs on the CD like I know who I am, Moving Forward, Great God, He Reigns are just simply wonderful. YES .. its a must have CD … so go get one! So far the only link i’ve found to buy the CD is from Joel’s website.
Finally …. Lakewood did one song from Hillsong United – Shout Unto God (Track 13) … and i like the not so rockish version when Israel led the church into warfare victory when they sang Shout Unto God with a Voice of Triumph! Excellent!
