A Night just for Praise & Worship

I love to Worship God, and i am so looking forward to this Friday’s Worship Night “Proclaim His Power”. Its just an awesome encounter when you come together with the church and just sing songs of adoration and praises and just spend time in the presence of God!

One interesting observation as this week led towards the worship night was, “How do I invite Friends to a Worship Night?”

I mean, we generally can create interest and easily invite friends and family to a Drama, a Movie or even a Concert, but how do you get friends to come to a Night of Praise & Worship?

I came up with two reasons:

1. For friends & colleagues… told them, “Hey come and check out “my attempt” to sing this Friday in church. hehe.. I ain’t much of a singer.. so this is definitely one sight to behold!! hehe

2. To others, i told them that it will be a night with a myriad of slow and fast songs that we sing in church. It will be a celebrative event and there will be a live band, a choir and 12 singers singing church songs. We’ve also some dancers that will add some “live” to our songs. So come and enjoy this FREE music this Friday.

AND for those of you from GT or those of you planning to come and wanting to know a bit more of what’s going to happen on Friday, here’s a simple run down of what will take place on 10 October!

First of all Worship Night, is not a Concert and neither is it a Presentation of Songs. Its a night where anyone can come into Maranatha Auditorium and enjoy the awesome presence of God as believers; and all over the church we can freely sing praise and worship songs to God!!

We are expecting God to supernaturally touch everyone present on that night, regardless of the need, the situation or the level of belief.

We will not be singing many new songs, but rather the musicians have quite cleverly added ”new arrangement” to the music of familiar songs that we mostly know and sing in churches. We wanted the praise & worship to be interactive, where we can all Sing together, and easily close our eyes and lift our hands in Worship and dance in celebration praise!

We’ve prepared two sets of song lists for that night. And we have Pastor Vincent sharing a special message in between the two sets. All in all we should be done in approx 90 mins.
