CD Review : Gateway Worship - Wake Up The World
WOO HOO!!! The second LIVE Worship CD from Gateway Worship. I remembered when i first stumbled on LIving For You last year in June, and was so excited with the potential of this new band in US.
I love the songs that they do, its dynamic, its powerful, its fun to sing, and its filled with the Spirit! Our fav in church its still their second song from their first CD called YOU YOU ARE GOD!
As i am writing this, i just received an SMS from our head of our Dance Ministry, asking for a sample of “YOU” cos they would be dancing to that song on the fourth week of April! WOO HOO!! 
Anyway….cool factor that i like about Gateway Worship is that one of our dear friends, Victor is attending the church in USA. He was sharing with us last year when they did the recording and how he met Don Moen for the very first time (Asians would know what i mean… Don Moen was HUGE in worship back in the 90s all over Asia). Anyway , so Victor was saying how great the service was and was telling me to get it when it gets out!!
One MORE other great thing that i love about Gateway Worship is that they provide CHORDS for all their songs FREE OF CHARGE on their website! That’s the coolest church that i know who records cool songs and shares their chords for FREE! That’s really a blessing especially for people way over in Asia! Keep up the great work Gateway!

There are three songs from WAKE UP THE WORLD that’s really awesome. Both God Of My Days (Track 5) and Alabaster Jar (Track 6) are slow songs, and they have a nice worship feel to it. The lyrics are easy to catch and its just sweet. And then there’s We’ll Make It Loud (Track 11) a fast and cool song. Can’t wait to teach some new songs from Gateway in church. Which do you like?

Yeah i know u guys danced to it already! I actually started writing this post way back on Friday, and never got to finish it till Monday. It was a super busy weekend!
Did you guys managed to add YOU YOU ARE GOD into the Dance Blog yet?
Now, Daren .. that’s what I’d call a BLOG!

We haven’t put up any of the dance steps we did the past couple of months yet, if that is what you are asking. Lydia Chia, another dancer, has all the videos coz her husband takes them while we are dancing, so we’ll have to wait till she has time to do so.
I am right now trying to put things in order like the calendar, and getting the hits reader to work!!

Must make sure all the new songs done are updated lah. Otherwise only all the old songs like .. “He is Exalted …The King is Exalted” types are on there.. then how?

The two sites are basically unofficial and meant for people all across the board.

Video cam? Hmm… ask PGC to buy for u lah! Its cheap! And honestly … if u are recording videos for YouTube, i suggest that u buy a Digital Camera like a Sony DSCT120, and use that to record the videos.
WHY?
1. cos almost anyone can handle a Digital Camera
2. its super easy to upload to YouTube, cos the Sony Cam saves it as a mpg file, then u just upload it online.
3. Or u can do what i normally do … add a header & end to the video using Windows Movie Maker. But if dont want..just skip step3.
Oooo… thanks for the idea. Sometimes we use the handphones to do it, but you knowla, resolution not so good, not to mention sound.
If u get the Sony DSC T120, the video quality is superb! In fact its so good, that my hardisk is always full.
Go check out some gadgets this weekend lah!
