This is another favorite of mine from Gateway – Wake Up the World.
Its an upbeat song and from the title itself I’m sure u can see they are “Making It Loud!”
The eleventh song from the album is in the Key of A, get your Electric Guitarist to fill in for most parts of the song. A lovely song to start your worship sessions and to Delcare His Glory and Majesty thru a song.

Creative Arts Worship Conference 2008 in South Africa
One of our readers, Yolandi from South Africa just shared with us that her church will be hosting the Creative Arts Worship Conference 2008 in South Africa.
It will take place from 28 June to 6 July 2008!
It is on it’s seventh year running, the host church is Dunamis International Family Church, their senior pastors are Dr HL Bester and Dr Phillicia Bester.
The conference includes powerful teachings from international and local speakers, which includes:
- Bishop Christopher Hardy, USA – Unlimited possibilities of worship
Other topics include, Anointed Leadership, Where are the Sons and Daughters in the House?, Counseling and much more.
The conference also has several workshops from international and local teachers, which includes:
- Roz Hancock, Australia – Dance

Christian Dance Fellowship Malaysia (CDFM) is organizing a Worship Arts Music & Dance Seminar on 17 May 2008 at the St Paul’s Church and on 18 May 2008 at MyDance Studio PJ.
There are two guest instructors – Douglas Eltztroth & Cynthia Newland who will be present for this two days event.

Kevin just sent me another version of the song “When I Speak Your Name“. The song writer, Elizabeth Clark who’s originally from CFNI also attends Kevin’s church. Its coool!
The version that Kevin sent is more soulish, and really fitting for this song. The style done by Gateway Worship is good too in a context, that if u wanna build up the song and end on a high.

Song : Satu Suara – Warisan Bangsa
This song was written last year for the National Transformation Conference (NTC) in Malaysia.
Satu Suara (Bahasa Malaysia) basically means ONE VOICE in English.
The song was recorded last year under the vision of Ps Matthew Gurdial Singh of the All In One Network (AION) ministry. The song is sang by Juwita Suwito and written by both Juwita and Ps Matthew.
You will find Satu Suara in the Jubilee CD, together with other Malaysian Christian artists like Jaclyn Victor, Vince Chong, Patrick Leong and of course Juwita Suwito.
The album, consisting of 7 Malay & 3 English songs, was released in conjunction with Malaysia’s 50th year of independence.

CD Review : Gateway Worship – Wake Up The World
WOO HOO!!! The second LIVE Worship CD from Gateway Worship. I remembered when i first stumbled on LIving For You last year in June, and was so excited with the potential of this new band in US.
I love the songs that they do, its dynamic, its powerful, its fun to sing, and its filled with the Spirit! Our fav in church its still their second song from their first CD called YOU YOU ARE GOD!
As i am writing this, i just received an SMS from our head of our Dance Ministry, asking for a sample of “YOU” cos they would be dancing to that song on the fourth week of April! WOO HOO!!
Anyway….cool factor that i like about Gateway Worship is that one of our dear friends, Victor is attending the church in USA. He was sharing with us last year when they did the recording and how he met Don Moen for the very first time (Asians would know what i mean… Don Moen was HUGE in worship back in the 90s all over Asia). Anyway , so Victor was saying how great the service was and was telling me to get it when it gets out!!
One MORE other great thing that i love about Gateway Worship is that they provide CHORDS for all their songs FREE OF CHARGE on their website! That’s the coolest church that i know who records cool songs and shares their chords for FREE! That’s really a blessing especially for people way over in Asia! Keep up the great work Gateway!
