After two nights at the Damansara Specialist Centre, its time to come Home!!

Nothing beats being home!

Thank you everyone for your visits, your calls, your sms, your prayers, your wishes, Nathanael is finally well enough to go home.

When Doctor Vasantha came by today at DSH, she said all signs are pointing positive, the tests for Dengue are negative, and all we need to continue is to monitor his fever – which is still going up and down.

So continue to keep Nathanael in prayer … pray that his Temperature returns to Normal!

Praise God that Nathanael is doing well!

Good news!! This morning when Nathanael woke up at 4am, he was talking and chatty like his normal self.

As usual, mommie didnt get much sleep cos watching over Nathanael. Mommies are such strong people!

Well thankfully DSH has free wi-fi, and we can update his status on the fly.

Dr Vasantha came in this morning to check on Nathanael.

We are so so glad that she came to see him despite her being on her off day today! Tks Dr V!

She said yesterday was a Complex Febrile Fit, which happens to kids with high fever.

Today, she said the blood tests showed that his blood palette count was low. It was at 110. Usually should be 150 or more. So that’s a significant drop and Dr Vasantha would like to monitor him further. Nathanael will be taking a second blood test later today.

So pray that his blood count will rise and that his fever will be gone for good!

Nathanael was admitted to hospital this evening due to high fever.

And the doctor has reconmended him to stay over night in the hospital for observation.

He’s currently on a drip and is sleeeeeeeping soundly now.

GOD is in Control!!

What is Favor?

Favor is is different from Grace, although it comes from the same root word. Grace is undeserved, unmerited. But the Bible is full of instruction about how we can obtain favor. Favor comes upon those who are watching, waiting, praying, keeping His commands, walking in kindness and truth… All of these things produce Favor! We live in the Favor of the Lord through prayer, faith, obedience and perseverance. Our prayer life, our faith in God and His Word, our obedience to God and our perseverance all determine the level of God’s favor in our lives and church.

 So for 2010, we urge you to read through the 10 Blessings below that the Favor of God will produce, and as it “hits” you, claim it for yourself in 2010!!

10 Blessings that the FAVOR of God will produce!

1. God’s favor can produce supernatural promotion and increase (Gen 39:21)
2. God’s favor bring restorationof everything the enemy has stolen (Exo 3:21)
3. God’s favor bring honor in the midst of adversaries (Exo 11:3)
4. God’s favor can produce increased assets(Deut 33:23)
5. God’s favor can give great and unsual victories even against impossible odds (Jos 6:20; 10:9,20)
6. God’s favor can give recognition and promotion even when you seem to be the least likely one to receive it (1 Sam 16:22)
7. God’s favor can produce prominence and preferential treatment, favor and kindness (Est 5:8)
8. God’s favor gets petitions granted, even by ungodly civil authority (Est 8:5)
9. God’s favor can change rules, regulations, even laws if necessary to your advantage (Est 8:5)
10. God’s favor can win battles you did not even have to fight because God will fight them for you (Ps 44:3)

We visited Remin & Joy and Raeanne (Zoe’s age) and also their new Baby Jonathan borned on 6 Dec 2009. He’s so adorable. Then you will get to see some photos of the new Ion Orchard (shopping Mall) on Orchard Road and some lights taken on the streets with Yeh Yeh & Ma Ma.

We had a fab time at baby Ryan’s 1 year-old Pool Party today! Dad & mom brought us to this cool home that has a backyard pool …. in no time, everyone was inside the pool playing and splashing away!

The pool was just packed with kids like me, jumping and playing … and my sister was having a great time swimming, just see her smile in the photos below and u will know what i mean

We bumped into to so many peeps from Malaysia too, and the ones we supposed to meet … haha tak jadi!

LOVE the Singapore Zoo, its really world class, and the animals are so so so captivating esp for the kids.

Nathanael and Zoe Joy went to the Zoo with Aunty Shao May, Cousin Brandon & Cousin Diane.

Hong Kong Holiday : December 2009 

We traveled on Air Asia to Hong Kong, which took about 3 hours and 50 minutes each way. Our experience with Air Asia was pretty good, no major delays, no bad service, no bad luggage experience.

Day  1 :  We arrived in Hong Kong on a Sunday nite. We pretty much settled down and checked-in into Excelior Hotel at Causeway Bay. The location at Causeway Bay on Hong Kong Island was ideal! Easy for eating, and transportation.

Day 2  : One full day at Ocean Park Hong Kong, followed with a dinner with Douglas. Contray to my own belief, Ocean Park is NOT like Sunway Lagoon. Its huge .. bigger than Disneyland and resides on a mountain. Lovely rides for children and also rides for adults wiht Live show with Dolphin & Seals and a huge aquariam similiar to what you see in Aquaria.

Day3 : Shopping Day with Irene. Irene picked us up at Excelsior and brought us to Stanley Market, Lunch at Yung Kee (super yummy Goose and Egg Tart and mroe!) and shopping at Cenral, then more shopping at City Gate Mall and finally a check-in at Disneyland Hollywood Hotel

Day 4 & 5 : Spent enjoying Disneyland  Parkwith the kids. Explored all the 3 lands : Tomorrowland, Fantasy Land & Adventure Land. Its  a much smaller Disneyland park compared to the others, but its really enjoyable if you put the Kids as the priority. They enjoyed every bit of it, and so did we! It was the Sparkling Christmas experience that we enjoyed at Disneyland, with Mickey & Minnie dressed in a blue Christmassy outfit, and a Disney Let It Snow Parade at  Main Street! – AWESOME!!

Tips for parents  travelling to Hong Kong

• For kids below 3, its ALL FREE! Zoe Joy enjoyed FREE meals, free Park Entrances at Ocean Park & Disneyland
• Bring a Stroller, cos it will help you to move around easily. Traversing the Disneyland Park & Ocean Park is tiring for the kids, after a bit, they just want to be carried or sit . Contrary to Air Asia’s feedback, the stroller can be checked-in into the airplan for free, don’t forget to declare it at the point check-in, so they can add it to your baggage claim ticket.
• Moving around in Hong Kong can be easily done with their fantastic subway (MTR) and busses. You must get an Octopus Card, its similiar to Touch & Go, which allows you to move around easily and also pay at some stores. Alternatively if you have a bit more money, taxis are super convenient too. Taxis starts at HKD 18 when you step in. If you carry luggage, they charge you HKD5 for each luggage in the boot!
• If you are flying with Air Asia, and you have some questions. Rather than call them, just drop a question on AirAsia Facebook Fan Page, they will respond to you much much quicker than if you try to call them.

We left Disneyland Hollywood Hotel at 10ish in the morning and we arrived back to the hotel at 8ish at night!

Amazing, Nathanael didn’t sleep … though he yawned a couple of times at 7ish when we were lining up for Stitch’s Encounter. Zoe however fell asleep just before the Sparkling Castle Lights at 630pm, and napped for about 20 mins, then after that she awoke with some amazing energy that kept her going all the way till we finished dinner at Cafe Mickey!

It was a super fun day at Disneyland… totally enjoyable, sat on many rides, saw many shows, queued up some long lines, and managed some quick Fast Pass to skip some other long lines, and we rode the Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters 3 times! Amazing… no queue for that one!

Here are some photos of the day ……. the time has passed so quickly since we have been in Hong Kong, and tomorrow we leave for home already! Tooooo fast!!!

On the 3rd Day… Irene came and met us at Excelsior and brought us around Hong Kong…. from Stanley Market to Yung Kee to City Gate Mall and then to Disneyland Hollywood Hotel for our check-in. She showered Nathanael and Zoe Joy with lots of gifts and sweets.. totally spoilt now by her love ! Thank you aunty Irene!

When Irene brought us to CityGate … Wah liau…. talk about shopping, it was just filled with Outlet Stores …. u name it… most of the brands were there! We went crazy!
