Am i having a seizure?
for the past few years i've had reactions to needles, i get a tingle throughout my body and get lightheaded, than i come to and have trouble moving, dry throat, sometimes it feels like i'm being stretched, doctors who hear my description call it vasovagel, it also happens now it happens when i twist my ankle. the last time it happend my mother witnessed it, she's a RN. she said my eyes rololed into the back of my head, then started going up and down very rapidly and finally i had a vacant look until i came to. now my eyes never shut during this time, but to me it felt like they were squeezed tightly shut, i'm now terrified of going to the DR. is this vasovagel or a seizure, now i did have seizure's when i was a kid
What do I do? My mother had a seizure?
This doesn't happen often, but it did. Usually she can remember after a half an hour of talking...we did the same thing this time... but after half an hour she still didn't remember a lot, and than she fell asleep...She woke up and still can't remember, and is quite... loopy? She bit her tongue but that's all the injuries she got from the seizure...Is this an emergency? Should someone take her to the hospital? Also... She has work... and if she misses anymore days she'll be fired...What do I do?I really don't think its an emergency though...I mean... she's AWARE she doesn't remember. She talks normally... but something... just isn't right...She says she remembers some things... but her head feels funny...And we can't exactly go to the hospital if its NOT an emergency... we don't have health care, and we're kind of broke...Thus why I'm worried my mom will lose her job.
Is there a bracelet or necklace that will let you know when your about to have a seizure?
I heard that they have something that you can put into a car and it will warn you when you are about to have one so I figured I would ask if there are any bracelets or necklaces?I have a stage 1 blockage to the heart,Epilepsy not on medication yet and also severe social anxiety,Depression,PTSD and eczema all over my body with scoliosis and ADHD on top of that sorry for getting off topic but anyone know if there is any bracelets or necklaces I can buy to warn me of seizures?I am 18 6 foot 5 everytime I go down and have convulsions I injure myself.Last wednesday I had one in the bathroom and parents had to bust door down to get to me .Thanks to anyone who has some kind of response
I think i had a seizure, but I have no idea what caused it?
I woke up in the morning feeling very hot and thirsty. I stood up and got that headrush where you feel dizzy after standing up too quickly. I went to the bathroom to get a drink of water and when I got there, I sat down to try and stop the dizziness in my head. Next thing I knew, my head was jerking around and I hit my head on the bath. At some points, I could see what was going on and at other points I couldn't. I opened my eyes and I was laid on the floor. Decided to sit there for a bit to make sure I was feeling well enough to stand up. Looked in the mirror and my nose was bleeding from a little cut so I had obviously hit my nose on something at some point too. I went back to my friend in my bedroom and took some paracetamol. Felt better after about 5 minutes and have been fine since...Was this a seizure? And if it was, would it be down to dehydration or something? I normally drink quite a lot of juice and water and had only had about half as what I usually do the day before this happened. Thanks a lot
I think i had a dream that I had a seizure...?
Okay last night i just remember waking up i think i was awake and i was shaking, while laying down, and i just remember thinking i was having a seizure, and telling myself that i needed to get up, but i didnt.I could've been sleeping, im not sure.And i've never had a seizure before.But the thing is, i know someone that ha a seizure in their sleep and died, so maybe i was just thinking about that and am imagining this whole thing..?I didn't remember it when i woke up, its just when someone said something at dinner that made me remember what happened...

I've never had a seizure before in my life.I don't have any illnesses or diseases that might cause it. All I have is anemia.Okay, this is what happened.I was on the computer, just hangin' out. I decided it was time to go to bed so I closed my laptop, set it on the floor, and stood up. My back was achy so I stretched it. Not 2 seconds after stretching, I began feeling dizzy and my vision went blurry and blotchy. This kind of thing happens when I'm dehydrated and get up too fast, so I didn't think anything of it. Then, as I waited for it to go away, my arms and head started twitching and shaking. At this point, it felt like I was entering a dream and I began to think about weird things as if I were dreaming. I lost consiousness for a few seconds while my body twitched. I slowly realized what I was doing and forced myself back into consiousness. The shaking died down and I got really scared. I was surprised that I was still standing so I walked around for a bit.My immediate thought was that I had just been possessed by a ghost. Then I realized how ridiculous that sounded and panicked at what just happened. I ran downstairs to tell my mom what just happened she's a nurse so I figured she would know , but she was half asleep and very little help.She said I had some kind of, quote " pre seizurey thing" . Yeah, very technical mother I have.Anyway, I, unlike her, am very alarmed about this.Does anyone know what happened to me?Why it happened?What I should do about it?Thanks D.
Can I have a seizure from 50mg of Tramadol?
I have no history of epilepsy, head injury or anything really. I'm not taking any drugs at all, including no SSRIs. I've never taken Tramadol before and i'm just curious if a seizure could occur from 50mg. Everywhere I go they always tell me the same vague information.

okay so me nd my friends were at this small place where there is stairs. we were smoking a blunt and sitting down for like 40 minutes. when we all got up i felt lghtheaded dont really remember anyhing. but i was at the bottom of the stairs knocked out. i havent eaten anything til thay point which was at 1 30pm. i am 5'9 and i weigh 120 . anyways i hit myself really hard against my friends fixie bike. my friens told me i was shaking and screaming in pain while i was out. funny thing is i dont remember Nything. ive never had seizure problems or else my doctor woulde probably said somethigg at one point. which i rarely visit my doctor. i think it was jus a headrush or somehing iono. and we were mad chain smoking. i fractured my right wrist and my as$ is bruised. was this a seizure or did i jus black out?

hi im a 16 year old male and yesterday i felt my heart start pounding for no apparent reason while i was sitting on the computer. i then felt a little dizzy so i decided to go get something to drink. by the time i got to the kitchen it had worsened and now i felt like i was goin to pass out. for some reason i decided i would go down the stairs to lay down i was kinda delirious . after i got half way down the stairs i cant remember what happened. i awoke in the laundry room which is 5 feet diagonal from the bottom of the stairs. i tried to get up but was too dizzy so i layed down for a few minutes and i noticed a weird hissing white noise sound. it lasted for about 15 minutes.i use to pass out a lot when i was younger but it was different and i never heard that sound.also ive been taking the antidepressant fluoxetine for almost a month. i stopped taking it today incase thats what caused it. thank you for any replies
Did I just have a seizure?
I was sitting on my bed when all of a sudden, I got dizzy, lost my vision, and lost the ability to control my body movements. I felt like i couldn't breath and that I was going to die. Then all of it just stopped, I was confused, my teeth hurt now I'm not sure if I was clenching them. I also have been going through withdrawal from xanax for the past 2 weeks and have been sleep deprived. I've been taken 1mg of xanax 4x a day for anxiety for two years now.
