Who has heard that story of the family with 6 autistic kids? It seems so scary to me I feel so bad for that family I was wondering, do you think I could do a fundraiser for them?
Information on autistic kids?
At the moment I'm writing a story about a girl who's dealing with her younger brother, who's severely autistic, and how he affects her social life. It's realistic fiction.Anyways, I need a lot of information on autistic children 5 7 years old .As in, what age do they die at, what they typically act like, and what each degree of autism is like.I just need as much information as possible on autistic children so I can write the story easier.It would help a lot if you told me about any personal experiences with a child with autism or asperger's.
My friend has a brother who had autism, he seems pretty normal to me though, autistic kids dn't show emtion
but the hamsters or something died and he was cryin, like he was really upset and things like jokes he laughs truely, he has a little brother who is 3, he's great with him, if he cuts his knee, he'd b right downat his level, tellin it's ok, moms gonna b here soon, gettin a big hug, thouggh he other shows, i mean i don't have any proof, but i just odn't feel that he has any love 4 his parents or anyone, that's when i feel the autism in him, has he got it mild? or is autism just autism
Are group homes a good choice for autistic kids?
My son is 18 and the social structure in our home is not secure enough to meet all of his needs. I am looking for help support to put him in a group home. I have raised this boy myself, and now I can't do it anymore. Anyone have any input that may help me with this new change? All comments are welcome OKAY I was not as descriptive as I should have been. My son CAN NOT live at home anymore because he has become violent and I can't find anyone that will baby sit him while I am at work. I have two other children 8 and 3 and they are afraid of their brother now. I want to keep my 6'4" 230lb baby at home but he might kill us Now, that's the situation I have. AND I want positive feedback please. I've been through a whole lot this week

I have been hearing wonderful thing about noni juice .. My lil man has autism, and i have been thinking about buying it from the chiropractors office.. At 50 bucks a shot i wanted sum advice 0 Any mom's out there that reccomend it ? He has been taking Manna Bears for 2 months now, and they have been an absolute God send, i am hoping this will help too .. thanks in advance ..
How to help autistic kids have more patient?
my brother is getting older and less and less patient. He is good in lines but with waiting for the computer and trying figure things out, he is very inpatient and gets frustrated quickly. He is high funcationing and i was wondering if anyone had any ideas on how we can help him learn to have more patientice. We set timers but, like if we are about to go somewhere, and he is fine with that, but if we dont finish, right when it goes off, he gets very angry and frustrated. iknow autistic kids like doing the same thing in the same order at the same time day after day, supposably, but he is not like that is changes stuff around. but he wants stuff on demand but if we say no or hold on, those are the magic words to get him mad. please help give me ideas. im tired of him not understanding

Has anyone seen improvement with autistic kids through vitamin and amino acid detox?
I put my daughter on a detox regimen about 5 weeks ago and even though no one can agree if she has autism or not, all her quirks red flags seem to be gone. She no longer visually stims, spins, or lines up toys. She also started a speech program with the school district 3 weeks ago she just turned 3 Her vocabulary has improved ten fold in this short period of time. I don't know if it is the school or the detox or maybe she is just outgrowing her quirks Has anyone else seen improvement like this through detox or maybe the school?I got sick of so called specialist's. With the okay of her Pediatrician and lot's of research I think I found a combination that works for her.
